RULES AND INFORMATION OF OCCUPANCY

- The Golden Rules
Occupants who display the following conduct in the village are in breach of the Golden Rules and may have their accommodation immediately withdrawn.
1. Failure to comply with Safety Instructions (including Cyclone Procedures)
2. Threatening and abusive behaviour
3. Fighting
4. Possession or sale of illegal substances
5. Tampering or deliberate misuse of fire and safety equipment
6. Urinating in public
7. Possession of firearms or dangerous weapons
8. Wilful damage to village property
9. Theft and fraud
10. Residents are not permitted to bring in any alcohol from outside the village. - General Rules of Occupancy
Failure to abide by these rules may result in disciplinary action or the withdrawal of accommodation.
Accommodation
• One room per person; rooms available from 2pm (arrival) to 10am (departure).
• Room amenities provided: bar fridge, TV, bed, linen, towels, etc.
• Rooms serviced weekly, including linen change.
• Smoking not permitted in rooms or within 5m of entrances.
• No additional shelves, tape, glue, or hooks to be used.
• No clotheslines or hanging items on verandas or balconies.
• All furniture and linen must remain in the room.
• Damages or missing items billed to employer (excluding fair wear and tear).
• Locked-out assistance: $5 charge (donated to charity). Lost key/card: $250 fee.
• Rooms must be kept clean and tidy. No cooking in rooms.
• No foreign objects in toilets.
• No pets.
• Do not feed wildlife or feral animals.
• Personal property insurance is the occupant’s responsibility.
• Management may refuse entry.
• Provide ID, key, and employer details upon request.
• No full-strength alcohol on the premises. - Dining Room Rules
• No catering equipment (e.g. glasses, cutlery, crockery) to be removed.
• Two food containers and one bag permitted for cribs.
• Takeaway meals for workers only.
• Dress code: T-shirt, shorts, thongs minimum; no singlets, bare feet, dirty work clothes, or work uniforms after 6 p.m.
• Anti-social behaviour (swearing, drunkenness, theft) not tolerated.
• Complaints via “Customer Satisfaction Surveys.”
• Dining Room is smoke- and alcohol-free.

• Fire extinguishers on external walls—do not tamper.
• No storage of flammable items near rooms.
• Vehicles must reverse park in designated areas.
• recommended Village speed limit: 10 km/h.
• No motorcycles/bikes/go-carts on verandas or pathways.
• Speed and traffic signs must be followed.
• Recreational vehicles/boats must be removed if requested. - Noise and Conduct
• No excessive noise, partying, or anti-social behaviour.
• Quiet hours: 10pm–10am (general guide).
• Comply immediately with Security/Management requests.
• Occupants responsible for guests’ behaviour.
• Guests must be accompanied by hosts.
• No gambling. - Tavern/Wet Mess Rules
• Operates under liquor licence for residents and up to two guests.
• Guests must be signed in at the register.
• ID may be required for liquor purchases.
• No open liquor containers removed from Tavern.
• Drunkenness and disorderly behaviour prohibited.
• Limit: four beers/premixes OR two piccolo wines per 24 hours (4 standard drinks total).
• Alcohol purchases must be registered via the Searipple Drinks Management system.
• Dress code: neat clothing; no gang insignia.
• Persons under 18: must be with a responsible adult, cannot drink, and false IDs will be confiscated.
• Beer garden must be vacated at closing time.
• Complaints directed to the Approved Tavern Manager.
• Alcohol sales cease during cyclone yellow alert. - Swimming Pool Rules
• Open 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. for residents and guests.
• No lifeguard; swim at own risk.
• No removal of pool furniture.
• No rafts, boards, or similar items.
• No running, pets, or glass in pool area.
• Keep gate closed, dry off before leaving.
• No alcohol in pool area.
• Report vandalism immediately. - BBQ Area Rules
• Book through reception; BBQ packs available with 24 hours’ notice.
• Clean area after use.
• Alcohol-free unless approved by management.
• Dispose of rubbish properly.
• Follow village curfew times.

• Open 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
• Keep area clean and share courteously.

• Proper attire required (enclosed shoes, respectful clothing).
• Swipe in or sign in on attendance. FOB available from Admin.
• Bring a towel; clean and sanitize equipment after use.
• Restack weights after use.
